They were very friendly, helpful and patient with our selection process. They provided us with all the important information on the various products and then made recommendations based on our likes and dislikes enabling us to make the right choice. They were very helpful in dealing with the insurance company to confirm what was to be covered and what was not. To that end they were clear as to the extra costs that we had to cover and provided us with options as to how to decrease the costs. (Doing some of the demolition and trim work ourselves) The installers they use are excellent and are really more like craftsman than installers. When we bought our condo 3 years ago we were looking to get replaced the old carpet that was there through the entire unit! An excellent experience with Designer's Carpet One. We used Designer's Carpet One to install hardwood floor throughout the house and our kitchen back splash. We had a fantastic experience picking out the flooring - there was a good a selection and the staff were very knowledgeable in answering all of our questions and providing helpful suggestions. The installation was seamless and performed with care. Our kitchen back splash was a more difficult pattern to install, but they did a superb job installing the pattern with a good amount of attention to detail. Overall we are very satisfied with the work completed. – JS

Friendly and knowledgeable staff. My daughter purchased a condo and wanted her floors replaced. I called Designers Carpet, they came by the condo and took precise measurements. My daughters went by Designers showroom and selected her new floor. From beginning to end they were extremely helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Took the time to quote for 1.25 in. with sanding, staining and final coating then talked about the pros and cons of using an engineered floor to replace our entire first floor in a century old house. Loaded heavy sample floors into my daughter's car to help me decide the right colour match and material for the job then remove them when she returned with my final choice. He was very accommodating and flexible and helped me choose a product that I loved and made sure it was in stock and could be delivered on time. It arrived as planned and the install was scheduled. We chose Designer's Carpet One on the recommendation of an insurance company following a flood in our basement laundry room last year. We were so impressed with the workmanship and project management that we went to them when we decided to have hardwood floors installed throughout our upstairs and down the stairway. Once again, every aspect of the project was extremely well managed by Thomas, who went out of his way to ensure that the work was completed before Christmas. The installers were very friendly, pleasant to have in our house for the 4 days that the job took, and helpful and cheerfully did a number of extras (such as installing baseboard in a small room that wasn't part of the project) that made our lives easier. The workmanship throughout was impeccable and the installers did an excellent job of sealing off our closets to protect our belongings from the dust. We were introduced to this company through a contractor who was rebuilding our home due to a fire. Raj was very attentive to the project - met onsite to provide quotes, took his time with us to show samples of floors and tiles even to the point of going to his warehouse to find more sample boards to choose from. Throughout the installation Raj answered questions quickly and had his crew call us for clarification and made sure we were a part of the process in layout etc. Raj and his crew were polite and professional and did an amazing job at installing the hardwood, laminate, and tiles throughout our whole house. When there was a slight gap between the wall and tile in our shower they came up with an excellent idea to finish it so we were completely satisfied. Our master bath is absolutely stunning!
